The Pelham BEAT is a small group of innovative Pelham citizens who came together to focus on creating exciting new possibilities for residents and city visitors to enjoy. The volunteers desire to improve Pelham's offerings in art education and activities, the performing arts, and entertainment events while promoting the aesthetic appeal of the community.
After months of discussion, planning, and obtaining support from the City of Pelham, a vision began to materialize. On April 27, 2021, incorporation documents were signed to form "THE BEAT", a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The BEAT, an acronym for Beautification, Entertainment, and Arts Team, encompassed the varied goals and multi-purposes of the group.
